The enigmatic Shadowlord is one of the most hands on mentors and strategists of his rank one will find. Gavin is not above assassination, psychological warfare, or direct slaughter if the conditions meet his indecipherable criteria. He is not one to openly admonish those he considers in his charge unless their actions are truly foolish or destructive to the goals and needs of the Sept or Nation. While many junior to him find him likable many elders are less appreciative, many times he has acted with tangible results and when others sought to punish him they found themselves facing situations where they would look inept or foolish. Many have suspected the Lord of being a Judge of Doom but he remains silent to such questions.
Currently he is the last remaining leader from the previous Sept and has been tasked with caretaker of dormant caern as well as organizing a new Sept so that the caern can be reopened. These new responsibility have yet to diminish the personality or spirit of the Philodox but many secretly suspect this is a task that can only fail in hopes of destroying his reputation. The known fact that he has not asked his tribe for assistance has many curious as to what unseen plans there may be circling the situation.
