Creation Information

Kinain and some sorts of Gallain have significantly different rules. Please follow the rules in the relevant book, using the rules below only on overlapping points. Also, these rules are simply what's set in stone. The ST shall have discretion to require a sheet to be altered, even if it complies with these rules, if it seems to him that the character would upset game balance or otherwise be unacceptable. We do acknowledge all of the books here so feel free to draw from as many as you like. However, the only book you need to play is the core book and an incredible variety of interesting characters can be made using that book alone. If you want to start with membership in a society, list that under the concept line. Most societies, however, are restricted.

Court: Seelie or Unseelie
Legacies: One Seelie and one Unseelie Legacy from any book, dominant Legacy first
Romantic Legacies are optional but do not replace ordinary Legacies
House: Only Sidhe may begin play as members of a House.

Seeming: Only Wilders (18 and up) and Grumps

Attributes: 7/5/3 Only one 4 allowed at creation and no 5s.. Record the mortal score, any chimerical addition will be recorded elsewhere. The exceptions to this rule are the House Leanhaun Charisma bonus which affects both Fae and mortals, the Satyr Stamina bonus and the Piskey Dexterity bonus which is in effect at all times.

Abilities: 13/9/5 No Abilities over 3. No more than 7 total dots in combat Abilities, including Dodge, Brawl, Melee and more specialized secondary Abilities relating to combat, such as Archery. Firearms is an irrelevant Ability as your character will not be able to acquire one. Gematria and Chimerical Alchemy are available to Nockers only at creation.

Backgrounds: 5 Household, Spirit Companion, Totem, Vision, Trod and Prestige are banned. Mastery is restricted to Scathach. Only Sidhe may begin with Title and this is limited to 2. Only Eshu may begin with Royal Lineage or Orisha Bond. See the forums regarding Holdings.

Arts: 3 Contempt, Naming, Spirit Link, Burnout, Stultify and Delusion are banned. Chronos and Sovereign are limited to Sidhe. Metamorphosis is limited to Commoners. The Autumn Way, Discord and Oneiromancy are limited to Adhene. Dreamcraft is limited to Sidhe and Eshu. Infusion is limited to Nockers. Merfolk Arts are limited to Selkies and Merfolk. TaleCraft is restricted to Eshu.

Glamour: Wilder-4, Grump-3

Willpower: Wilder-2, Grump-5

Banality: Wilder-3, Grump-5

Freebies: 15

Thresholds: Select both a Musing and a Ravaging Threshold. Remember, even some Seelie sometimes Ravage in desperate situations and many, although not most, Unseelie prefer to Muse when they can. The latter is especially true given the influence of House Liam even on the Unseelie of the County and is more often true of Unseelie Sidhe than Commoners.

History: Character histories should be turned in by FPM and should include basic character goals, concept, how you see them fitting into the venue and what brings them to London.

Special Inanimae Rules
Regard is limited to 2 at creation. Famous Anchor and Imperial Ambassador are restricted. Pyromania is banned.

Special Kinain Rules
Taghairm and Taibhsear require the permission of the Wraith ST. Kinain who are also a supernatural of another sort may not learn Arts and Realms.
